Its quite a pity... everybody would be celebrating Chinese New Year this year, but sadly, won't be able to... So Happy CNY to all you readers out there!

Unfortunately, it is also Bb's Birthday today! Because I am already gone, this is to wish Bb a very Happy @$th Birthday (Not a typo!)



Yay!! Well, whats a birthday without pressies!



Because I am gone, the smartest thing to do is to send the present first!! Even though its not a surprise, I know that bb would need it! Introducing the Samsung Netbook N220! Compliments from the Credit Suisse Stock Investment Challenge 2010! (Credit Suisse Investment Challenge 2009 sponsored Bb iPod!)

What bb doesnt know is that the sleek greenish netbook, pimped by yours truly now has more power than the average netbook! With Windows 2010 Home Edition (Most netbook come only with Windows Starter 2010, where you can only open 3 programs at once!), you can Windows Aero themes!

Lets see, other little surprises I packed in there:
Windows Movie Maker 2.6 so that bb can edit videos
Photoshop CS3 so that she can photoshop her pics!!
Adobe Acrobat so that she can make edit pdf!
doPDF a software that helps you print to pdf!
MS Office 2007 (Full version!) so that bb can finish the overdue assignment!
Best of all, it comes with a built in web cam and mic!

Now I can finally see the birthday girl and do this!

Well, this is the first ever post dedicated to my father but why not!

Who else would change your diapers and get you all the toys you needed. Who else do you go to when you need help and need someone to look up to?

They are the ones who buy you your first handphone, your first car, your first laptop etc... and so we owe a great deal of love to them.

Anyway, counting the candles, I count 60!

How to surprise a girl!

Step 1: Get your friends to buy a cake on her birthday and keep the cake in the freezer so she does not find out!



Step 2: Knock on her door on midnight when shes unsuspecting! Sing happy birthday and light de candles!


Step 3: Turn off the lights and let her make a wish! Blow the candles out!
.... I wish for Snow!

*Alternatively, buy a cream cake or creampie and smack it on her face!
Warning: might not work for every person... but would be fun!


Step 4: Cut the cake...!


Thats how you surprise a girl! Happy Birthday to Ellie! Blessed birthday!

Ooooo... the wish! The wish for snow came true!

Contrary to popular belief, this shot was just a test shot... not vaining or anything.

London is not a very romantic place at all, cause so many lampposts! but they are nice for shooting!



Anyway, it snowed quite a bit so we decided to snowball fight!

Before we knew it, there were like 10 people throwing white balls all around! The guys on the 1st floors had the high ground but we had the numbers! Hope his room is full of snow! Ironically, we were told off at about 2am for making too much noise!

Oh well, time to go.. and for his final act, Reuben decides to strip for the ice!

Its gonna be a white Chirstmas!

As Greek as it Gets

Last Tuesday, a group of us 4th year Chemical Engineers took the time to visit a Greek Restaurant called As Greek as it gets!

Located at Earl's Court, The restaurant is finely decorated with
1) A mini library (Probably about Greek myth and the credit crunch)

2) A really cool atlas of Greece (Ancient map)

3) Really nice tables and table ware:

But today was no ordinary day. Today was Ricky's Birthday! Say hello to the man! (The tall one)

As you ascend to a higher place, you will be greeted by the wall of spatulas! No joke:

One part of Greek cuisine was waiting for the food. The poor chef has to go hunt for your meat, plant, water grow and pick your vegetables and then get an army to cook it cause i had time to go back to get my camera! (I live 10 mins away)
Eventually, the food did come and it was a sight for sore eyes:

Calamari and tomato chicken!

Crispy roasted chicken and pitta bread! This one was delicous!

He ordered a sharer's platter  which looked quite good! Chicken, lamb and cream! Topped with salad!

Well, i received a really funny surprise today from the most my housemates (and an unlikey visiotr. Those lil sneaks)!


Fish and Chips(Fried by Zhen and baked by Wai Kit)!! How did they know I like, that i will not know... also, they made a big serving of sangria blanca(Fruits bought by Ho Meng but i cut the pineapple)! I even got 2 birthday cakes (One from Ho Meng and a chocolate cake baked by yvonne!)

yay, look at me blowing out the candle! 2 candles for 20 and a half candle for 1! haahh.. quite a laugh. And here are the sneaky people who surprised me on my birthday:Thanks very much u people. Good to have friend like you guys.. but sooner or later, we will all be 21. So stop reading this and get out and live your life!
