7th Anniversary!

OMG! I managed to finish 400 minutes talking on Skype with Bb! After that, I managed to drain my skype credit to 0.04AUD and my handphone balance to 0.08 pounds! Argh!

Luckily, I have another sim card which still had a lil more cash in it!

Taking out my old Nokia phone, I replaced the sim card.

Surprisingly! It still works!! Yayy! Yes, this lil baby has been with me since June 2004! so its almost like our 7th year together! Albeit the scratches, it still functions and can do all the things that it used to do!

It was nice flicking through the messages and I suddenly found this one one year ago!
At the end of last year, i guess the dream came true:

Its quite a pity... everybody would be celebrating Chinese New Year this year, but sadly, won't be able to... So Happy CNY to all you readers out there!

Unfortunately, it is also Bb's Birthday today! Because I am already gone, this is to wish Bb a very Happy @$th Birthday (Not a typo!)



Yay!! Well, whats a birthday without pressies!



Because I am gone, the smartest thing to do is to send the present first!! Even though its not a surprise, I know that bb would need it! Introducing the Samsung Netbook N220! What bb doesnt know is that the sleek greenish netbook, pimped by yours truly now has more power than the average netbook! With Windows 2010 Home Edition (Most netbook come only with Windows Starter 2010, where you can only open 3 programs at once!), you can Windows Aero themes!

Windows Movie Maker 2.6 so that bb can edit videos
Photoshop CS3 so that she can photoshop her pics!!
Adobe Acrobat so that she can make edit pdf!
doPDF a software that helps you print to pdf!
MS Office 2007 (Full version!) so that bb can finish the overdue assignment!
Best of all, it comes with a built in web cam and mic!

Now I can finally see the birthday girl and do this!

A special day for us!

Ah, there is always one time of the year where you have to turn back the clock and just think about how it all happened. So turning back the clock...

All the way back to 2002 when this young guy met this young girl. Although he missed her, he never knew that their paths would cross. After a camp at the end of 2002, he was back to videogames while she just got her new handphone. Then one Saturday afternoon. He got 1 missed call. Curious, he calls back, not knowing that it was just fun and games, not knowing who was on the other line...

8 years later...

...here we are...

Happy New Year 2011 from London!

10! 9! 8! 7! 6! 5! 4! 3! 2! 1! HAPPY NEW YEAR!!!

This year, me and Bb went to watch the fireworks at the London Eye. We were not alone, there were almost a million people there with billions tuning in to watch, what I would describe as one of the best firework displays I have ever seen. Here is to share!




Another 365 days have passed since the start of 2010! What better way to spend the new year than with a bunch of wacky friends!

We headed to Waterloo Station before the roads were blocked from the public! What better way to usher in the New Year With some shots and some warmth!

Staying in to play some games, we waited till 11.30 to get down to the Eye. At 0 degrees celcius, the whole of London is out sharing heat today, and an estimated 1 million people will be at the London eye spectating.

Anyway, the whole bunch of us went towards the eye and it was crowded indeed.

For Bb, it was the first time she will be watching the fireworks at the London eye and you can tell that she is excited!

My Final Clue to Babe!

This album was taken in my room! We were vaining all the way through 6th Anniversary Eve Day! One really important thing I learnt at my internship was how to fold paper roses!Guess who I gave half a dozen to?

Just want to say thank you to the sweetest girl in the world. Thank you dear for all the times. Let's make more memories in the coming holidays!

Anyway, my misinterpretation made me feel so demotivated over the past few days but after sorting things out with Babe, I'm feeling much better than the weather in Victoria right now.

Operation© Big Surprise Clue #32/34 Two Clues Left!


Dear reader,

You know its winter when you become so demotivated and lazy. This morning I woke up and I could not even look out my window cause it was all foggy! Even my alarm clock is having trouble getting me up in the morning. Cold is air and it gives you that feeling of hibernating in bed.

Anyhow, clue 32 was taken at the water front, right at the Merlion in Singapore. I still can remember how me and Babe rushed like mad dogs to the harbour front just to be able to catch the last train back to the hotel.

It was sort of an amazing race feeling because we did not really know the exact directions and babe was doubting my every move. Yet, its kinda difficult not to find the place, after all, my name in Norse, means navigator.

Exam stress!

It is time to say that examination period has started! Upon opening my past paper last night, it was as if i saw a ghost!

Murder by Particle Mechanics and Processing

Any how, to take some time off, clue #31 was Babe and me vaining at Ampang Lookout point. The moon was full and the air was breezy.

Honestly, the way up to the top looked like a scene from initial D. I can imagine myself with the tofu and the cup and drifting down.

I remember that there was one part where we were driving through the housing estate and we hit something! One of us must have shouted!

Operation© Big Surprise Clue #26/34 KLIA


I think this was the first time Babe has stepped into KLIA (The departing end of the airport). I was a curious time for her and so we decided to go explore the air port.

It was about 6 am when we caught a taxi from Sunway to KLIA. About RM60 one way! So gay! Reaching the airport, babe was all excited that we were going on a plane! I think this was her fifth time flying in her life!

We got a good view of on the aerotrain and headed for our terminal.

Clue #25 was taken mostly in York Hotel, Orchard Road, Singapore. It is the first Hotel Babe stayed in Singapore!

The rooms are great and the breakfast buffet fabulous!

Highly recommended!

Operation© Big Surprise Clue #24/34 Manhattan Fish Market


Ah... it kinda sux to execute Operation Big Surprise ahead of time, like 1 month earlier than planned but oh well. Not everyone has the same amount of patience as I do. Anyway, clue 24 was taken at Manhattan Fish Market!

One of my experience with Manhattan Fish Market is that I found a severed glove in my Fish and Chips. Fine, I told the manager, but and he said he would send me a 10% discount voucher but it never came. Lousy Manager.

Having thought that we would not get the same treatment at the other branches, we went down to the one in QB. They made us wait so long! So damn annoying.

My advice, stay away from Manhattan Fish Market to save you life!

Operation© Big Surprise Clue #23/34 Queensbay Mall


Yes, operating go fly kite was on the way as you can see. We were at Queen's flying our RM5 kite into the night sky. Babe was exhilarated that we could actually get the kite flying after 30 mins of no show.

After that, the kite did not seem that it want to come down without a fight, so we pulled it down!

The bright side was babe's reaction when I got her the best Christmas present so far!

Operation© Big Surprise Clue #22/34 More from Ampang Lookout Point



Word of caution. Clue 22 was taken at the hill top restaurant at Ampang Lookout point. There are four restaurants atop the look out and some of the food better than others. Be aware though, the dessert served is pathetic and a scam. Do not waste your money on their over priced no quality desserts. They are indeed lousy and unappealing to the eye.

Yet, the scenery there is nice over looking KL! Get your cameras out and start snapping!

Operation© Big Surprise Clue #21/34 Fish and Co. Singapore @ Wheelock


Fish and Co! is a Singaporean owned chain of restaurants selling seafood. There used to be one shop in Gurney but has since closed after renovations on Gurney walk commenced.

Their signature dish is no doubt their fish and chips! Ahh. miss that.

Babe and I were just strolling down Wheelock place in Singapore when suddenly we spotted the shop after going down the four storey elevator!
