Whee! Got a new lens from Canon! Introducing the Canon EF 50mm f/1.8 at only RM245! It was part of Canon's sale and it seems that they are trying to clear out stock, before which was retailed at RM350...even Low Yat forum could not beat this price!
Thanks to Bb who sponsored me the lens for my graduation gift! Yay! Gonna be having loads of fun with this new baby!
Sorry Xander, the f1.4 costs 4 times more...
First impressions:
1. Good value
2. Light to carry
3. Slow focus
4. Need to stand very far from subject ~ 2-5m
5. Problems with the view finder which kills the meaning of SLR
6. Perfect with Live View though
