If you imagine eating something, you will be less hungry for it!


Enough hotdogs for me!

That was what researchers concluded.

They asked people to think about eating M&M
and another group to think about something else. A control group was asked to think of only M&M not eating it.

They found out that people who thought of eating M&M ate less when presented with the real thing, while people in the other two groups had more of the cute stuff!

How to Ace Boston Consulting Group Interview

Congrats, you got the interview! Here are some useful tips before you get in! Note to self...

1) Make sure you have answers to these questions:

a) Why the course you are studying?

b) Why Consulting?

c) Why BCG?



2) Train your brain!

a) Do some simple sums without a calculator. None provided in math test.

b) Do some estimation like what is 498x397?



3) The essence of consulting =

a) Cost cutting!

b) Look for the fixed cost, this is unchangable

c) Look for variable cost like cost of acquisitions - this is where consulting is applied!


4) Structure your responses, suggestion:

a) If it is a yes and no answer, you have 50/50 chance to start with! Why yes or why no?

b) State the real problem

c) State the evidence

d) Give some recommendations


5) Time, make sure you think fast using the above!

Ah yes, what is a trip to Selangor without visiting the most unique icon in the state?

Welcome to Sunway Pyramid!



Where else in the world can you find a shopping mall with a Sphinx and a pyramid?? This makes Sunway one in the world! You won't find any mummies here but you will find:



Yes, you will find me and Babe and many other people in the place. A romantic place? Well, why not?? Shopping with you bb is kind romantic (only not more than 2 hours please!)

Next, after indulging in some shopping, you can head down to the beach! Yes! Sunway has the only indoor beach in South East Asia!


Sunway Lagoon has been around for many years, but then, every other year, they seem to add new things there. Don;t miss the opportunity to go down the slides with your Bb! Hehe, the dry park is alright, but I prefer the wet park and the extreme park!


After that, if the fun in the sun is not enough, you can head to the many entertainment spots.




What is a romantic place without movies and good food??


And free wireless internet access from Sunway!


At night, there are clubs and bars, and most importantly, that beautiful scenery to take cute shots together!
How do you get more romantic than that??

How to surprise a girl!

Step 1: Get your friends to buy a cake on her birthday and keep the cake in the freezer so she does not find out!



Step 2: Knock on her door on midnight when shes unsuspecting! Sing happy birthday and light de candles!


Step 3: Turn off the lights and let her make a wish! Blow the candles out!
.... I wish for Snow!

*Alternatively, buy a cream cake or creampie and smack it on her face!
Warning: might not work for every person... but would be fun!


Step 4: Cut the cake...!

So we went down to enjoy some ice ice!

Contrary to popular belief, this shot was just a test shot... not vaining or anything.

London is not a very romantic place at all, cause so many lampposts! but they are nice for shooting!



Anyway, it snowed quite a bit so we decided to snowball fight!

Before we knew it, there were like 10 people throwing white balls all around! The guys on the 1st floors had the high ground but we had the numbers! Hope his room is full of snow! Ironically, we were told off at about 2am for making too much noise!

Oh well, time to go.. and for his final act, Reuben decides to strip for the ice!

Its gonna be a white Chirstmas!

Been busy playing with very small things...

My lab project! Fullerene Crystals! These are actually found in smoke particles! FYI, this was taken with 1000 times magnification.

The satu batang there is 10 microns across, or ten times thinner than the average ketiak moh!

Ten more days to deadline! Arrr!
